The Peacefighters initiative Hits Mexico

It was a big day for 'The Peacefighters' initiative. Mr Carl Emery a co-founder of 'The PeaceFighters' was in Mexico on behalf of the charity which was founded along with Robert Brinerand and Billy Murray. The aim's of 'The Peacefighters' - are to fight for peace by promoting the ethos of Martial Arts to disadvantaged children.

St Patrick’s Day Bash

Kickboxing in The Emerald Isle was the St Patrick's Day highlight for the Irish fight fans as kickboxers from all over the globe made their way to Belfast, Northern Ireland to compete. The main event of the evening was the return to the ring for former WKN World Champion from Belfast, Gary Hamilton as he faced Aubrey Tarr. Hamilton was truly in astonishing form as he took another deserved win proving once more that he is still the number one light-welterweight kickboxer in the country.

Peace Fighters Japanese Connection

It was an historic visit for a team of Irish sports people as they travelled the astonishing 5879 miles to Tokyo, Japan in order to hone their skills in the sport of Kickboxing. The Peace Fighters Initiative is aimed to promote peace and respect through sport and it was a privilege for everyone on the team to be invited.

On the occasion of the UN endorsed International Day of Peace, to be celebrated (TODAY) on 21 September 2010, a boxing ring will be set up at the Place des Nations in Geneva. The PEACEFIGHTERS Association will organise a friendly kickboxing demonstration in the ring between 16.00 and 17.30. Boxers from the diverse communities of Northern Ireland, and more particularly , Emery, Hamilton, Horan and Murray will be performing a kickboxing demonstrations.

The PeaceFighters are at it again, with more kickboxing action in Northern Ireland's Capital City of Belfast. Fighters from all over Ireland, Scotland, Switzerland and Holland will all be making their way to compete at the 'Spooky Spectale' at Belfast's 5 Star Hilton Hotel this October 30th. The fights will always be the main attraction but the essence of fun and friendship will be ever apparent with fancy dress prize give-aways and other surprises.

Peacefighters to hit Japan

Members of 'The PeaceFighters' initiative will head East to Japan. Young competitors from all over Ireland are planning a trip of a lifetime as a team of 19 will embark on a trip to the Land of the Rising Sun, Japan. The trip is planned for later this year (December) and for ten days. It will be a mammoth task of fund-raising, training and planning with an end result to see the K1 Grand Prix Finals and a kickboxing bout of their own
