Kickboxing in The Emerald Isle was the St Patrick's Day highlight for the Irish fight fans as kickboxers from all over the globe made their way to Belfast, Northern Ireland to compete. The main event of the evening was the return to the ring for former WKN World Champion from Belfast, Gary Hamilton as he faced Aubrey Tarr. Hamilton was truly in astonishing form as he took another deserved win proving once more that he is still the number one light-welterweight kickboxer in the country.

The Holiday Inn, Belfast was the venue that the Irish fight fans couldn’t wait to get to. The weigh-ins were done the venue was looking great, all that was left to do was enjoy the spectacular kickboxing fights to come. The main event for the evening was the battle of the Belfast Giants. No, not a team of ice hockey players but rather the two Belfast kickboxing Giants, Gary Hamilton and Aubrey Tarr.

The co-main event of the evening was between Belfast’s rising star Mark Bird as he faced tough Swiss opponent Diego Diserens. His first round stoppage surely now has earned him a chance at a World crown.

The special guest of the evening was none other than K1 legend Mr Ernesto Hoost. ‘Mr Perfect’ has now become a frequent visitor to Ireland’s shores and has a fantastic experience every time.
