The PeaceFighters initiative was honoured by the Mexican Federation's president and the first ever world champion in the sport of kickboxing at Lightweight - Mr Isaias Duenas, (left) who presented a beautiful trophy to Mr Carl Emery.
The Peacefighters initiative Hits Mexico
It was a big day for 'The Peacefighters' initiative. Mr Carl Emery a co-founder of 'The PeaceFighters' was in Mexico on behalf of the charity which was founded along with Robert Brinerand and Billy Murray. The aim's of 'The Peacefighters' - are to fight for peace by promoting the ethos of Martial Arts to disadvantaged children.
Carl Emery was invited by Professor Isaias Dueñas, Carl Emery attended the “Copa de America” a mega tournament for tae-kwon-do and during the tournament the Swiss former world Full-Contact champion Carl Emery donated sports equipment to underprivileged children to help them practice in their sport.
